You lost me at 2.3

Android 2.3 or not, the HTC Flyer looks to be one of the best Android tablets ready to hit the market. Since the Flyer has a lower resolution screen, the 1.5 GHz single core process will probably outperform the Tegra 2 equipped Honeycomb tablets with high-res displays.

I simply love the size and the fact that it comes with the capacitive pen!

If it’s not a HTC 3 dimensional triangle, I don’t wanna hear about it.

I’m okay with it coming to all the T-Mobile markets. And I’m going to guess that while it may launch with 2.3, HTC will update it pretty quick to a 3.0 based build with a tablet oriented version of Sense on it.

The pen is more advanced than a capacitive pen. The tip is just like a real pen, has hover functionality and has 256 levels of pressure sensitivity.

Some apps that may use the stylus include Adobe Journal, picsay and most interestingly Vision objects which is good handwriting recognition.
You know what would really be cool? HTC flyer being used for educational apps, not just for college physics lectures but for elementary school kids.

I would say its more likely the UK T-Mobile then the USA brand. In the UK they use the magenta color more but I could be wrong(which I’ve known to be). The pen is probably the best part of the whole thing, but I don’t see this tablet being able to compete with the iPad. I think the Android tablets out there are too confusing for the average user. The Xoom is a great device, but I think the average person who has nothing vested into Android and iOS will take the simplisticity of iPad over the Xoom, Galaxy Tab and this.

The —T-Mobile– is totally UK but Carly isn’t.
