I flashed this a few days ago, just couldn’t wait anymore for T-Mo to push it out. So far I like it, but I’m not seeing the battery improvements that everyone claimed I would with GB. Not that it matters, I still get through a day of normal use, and keep a charger by the couch for days of heavy use.

Pass (cause i only do official stuff) but im excited for 2.3.3 on my G2, its taken longer than expected but the update is a big difference from my current froyo so its not like i have THAT much to look forward too.

I have no idea if this directly related to this update, but I have been having radio or signal issues since I flashed this a few days back. Is there another radio I can flash without having root that could fix this issue?

Cyanogen has 2.3.4…just sayin’…Congrats to everyone who held off rooting their phones…I sure as hell couldn’t wait, so i rooted it and got Cm7 & MIUI …lol

I can certainly say I’ve enjoyed my root access on my G2. Still, I’m almost tempted to flash this update just to see how stable this build is. I love flashing ROMs all thew time but it would be nice to live with a phone that just works without any hack or major tweaking.

my un-rooted G2 works just fine, has from day one. was your G2 defective ? if so, why didnt u return it for a new one ? i find myself asking so many people that these days… people that go online and whine about the G2 and random reboots and the like and they keep the phone and go online and bitch about it. its the same annoyance i had with the morons that complained about the G2′s loose hinge, meanwhile the idiots couldnt fathom that a hinge has no spring, its like a door, so if you hang the phone upside down the hinge miraculously opens…..dont mine me , im venting.
